IMMEDIATE HIRE -FARM OPERATIONS ASSISTANT

Compost Community, a Tallahassee-based composting and urban farming operation, is looking for a dependable, hardworking Farm Operations Assistant to join our team. We are committed to creating healthier soil, reducing organic waste, and supporting a more sustainable local community.

This is a hands-on, outdoor position primarily supporting compost production and local compost deliveries. It is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, being outdoors, and learning about composting, agriculture, sustainability, and soil health.

Responsibilities include:. Assisting with compost production and processing. Bagging, loading, and unloading compost. Preparing orders for customers. Making local compost deliveries. Maintaining clean and organized work areas. Assisting with general farm tasks as needed

Were looking for someone who is:. Reliable, punctual, and hardworking. Comfortable performing physical outdoor work. Able to safely lift and move bags of compost. Comfortable making local deliveries. Able to follow directions and work independently. Positive, flexible, and willing to learn

Previous farm or composting experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right person.

Starting pay rate, based on experience. Flexible Schedule. Tallahassee, FL
