INGREDIENTS

The Chicken
  • 1 - 5.5 Oz Bag of Fresh N Quick Green Onions or 6 Strips
  • 1 - 8 Oz Container of Taylor Farms Pacific Chopped Red Onions or 1 Large Red Onion Chopped
  • 1 Jalapeno Pepper (seeded and minced)
  • 1 - 10 fl Oz Bottle Kikkoman Naturally Brewed Soy Sauce (Use 3/4 Cups)
  • 1/2 Cup of Distilled White Vinegar
  • 1/4 Cup of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 Tablespoons of Del Tropico Oro 100% Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Chopped Fresh Thyme
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of McCormick Specialty Herbs and Spices Ground Cloves
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of McCormick Specialty Herbs And Spices Ground Nutmeg
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of McCormick Gourmet Herbs Whole Jamaica Allspice
  • 1 1/2 Lbs of Chef's Choice Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts

The pasta
  • 1 - 12 Oz Pack of Al Dente Roasted Garlic Fettuccine Noodles
  • 1 Tablespoon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 - 2.5 Oz Container of Spice Classics Garlic Powder (not minced), or 1 Large Head/Bulb of Garlic
  • 1 Cup Campbell's Chicken Broth
  • 1/2 Cup Iberia Dry White Cooking Wine
  • 1/4 Cup Chopped Fresh Cilantro
  • 2 Limes (quartered)
  • 1/2 Cup Land O Lakes Heavy Whipping Cream
  • Salt and Pepper (for taste)


DIRECTIONS

The Chicken: In a food processor or blender, combine the green onions, onion, jalapeno pepper, soy sauce, vinegar, vegetable oil, brown sugar, thyme, cloves, nutmeg and allspice. Mix for about 15 seconds. Place the chicken in a medium bowl, and coat with the marinade. Refrigerate for 4 to 6 hours, or overnight. Preheat grill to get the max heat. Lightly oil grill grate. Cook chicken on the prepared grill 6 to 8 minutes until juices run clear.

The Pasta: Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat, and cook the garlic for one minute. Mix in the chicken stock, white wine, chopped cilantro, juice of 1 lime, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and stir in the Alfredo powder and the heavy cream. Cook and stir until mixture is thickened, about 5 minutes. Do not allow it to boil. Pour the cooked fettuccini noodles into the saucepan, and toss with the cream sauce.
