Join us for a fun-filled educational evening and help us count the bats that come out of our Bat House at dusk. There'll be games, glow sticks and the concession stand will be open. This will be a great time of family fun. Judy Ludlow from the Calhoun County Extension will present bat facts at 6:00 pm CDT.

There will be a Viewer's Choice Award, a Chinese Auction, grab bags, fat quarters and fabrics for sale, scissor/pinking shears sharpening (ranging from $7.50-$12.00) and quilt appraisals will be available. If anyone would like to have their quilt(s) displayed please bring them by the Settlement on Thursday, April 30 or Friday, May 1st between 12 noon and 4 pm CDT.

Southern knife makers will be at the Panhandle Pioneer Settlement to show and sell one of a kind knifes. If you enjoy handmade knives, this is the place to be. If you do not see a knife that you want then talk with the knife-makers and order your own custom made knife.
